Indeed we are really excited that as an industry, we are making leaps toward ICD-10 and physician readiness is greatly improving.
Although there have been several delays and considerable testing measures, the past year has has left quite many far from the mark. Some time over a year ago the Medical Group Management Association published an appalling figure on physician ICD-10 risk, just before the last year’s delay. The article claimed that only 10 percent of physicians were actually prepared for ICD-10. Today, 16 months later, WEDI claims that the situation is pretty much the same, and only a few more have taken notice: “More than 25 percent of providers said they expect to begin testing by the second or third quarter of 2015.
We hope to be helpful in improving these odds. DOW Healthcare has been a leading player in delivering technological solutions to healthcare clients to help the, in preparing and successfully testing for the ICD-10 crossover. We are always highly supportive towards enabling private clinics and facilities to thrive financially, despite of the constant shifts in regulations.
